As part of the so-called “interpretation” project entrusted to them, MUSE studied the accessibility of the park in order to transfer it to appropriate communication tools (both directional signs and botanical/historical/management information).
For the purposes of accessibility for the visually impaired, the following will be placed within the park:
- 1 tactile map at the entrance with a plan of the park, the paths and the main attractions
- 4 smaller tactile maps located throughout the park, corresponding to the main attractions
- 10 tactile labels (also in Braille) at the 10 most significant botanical attractions
- directional arrows (toilets, exit, greenhouses) in Braille
For wheelchairs, accessibility is limited to the service areas under the canopy and the entire central cement path.
The other paths are gravel and sometimes have steps and slopes that are not accessible due to the terrain, but are still passable for visually impaired people.
The toilets under the canopy are accessible to all.
As part of the family project, the toilets have been equipped with changing tables.
There are 13 benches located throughout the park.
