The Arciducale Park reopens on Saturday 28 June

ARCO - After a two-year wait, Arco's Arciducale Park reopens to the public on Saturday, 28 June. The summer opening hours are as usual: every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. An official inauguration will be organised during the summer.

The Arciducale park, the last witness of an ancient park that Archduke Albert of Habsburg had wanted around his villa at the end of the 19th century, and where today there are about 200 different species of trees and shrubs in an area of about two hectares, has been the subject of a major restoration and revalorisation of the botanical and architectural heritage that has received funding from the PNRR. The work, which began in April 2023, was considerably slowed down by the considerable difficulties encountered with the company that was awarded the contract for the work (the duration of the intervention was expected to be about one year). But now everything is ready for the reopening.

The park is managed by the Municipality of Arco together with the MUSE and the Provincial Service for Nature Conservation and Environmental Enhancement, with a full programme of environmental education activities and plant development monitoring.
